An exercise in gender bias
Consider a few songs that have lyrics. What happens to them if you change the gender of the vocalist, but nothing else? Or also change all gender references in the song, if you feel heteronormative today.
The fact that this screws with the vast majority of rock and pop, and a significant chunk of electronica, I think says a lot against the concept that sexism is anything other than very alive...
